Job Title: Finance and Economy Research Specialist (Full Time – On-site)

Role Description:
iNNOV8 Research Center seeks a full-time, on-site Finance and Economy Research Specialist based in Sulaymaniyah. The successful candidate will conduct specialized research in finance, economic policy, and development studies, producing rigorous analytical reports and actionable insights. The role also includes building strategic relationships with NGOs, think tanks, government agencies, and international partners; organizing and moderating finance- and economy-focused events such as roundtables and webinars; and representing iNNOV8 in related forums as panelist or moderator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on finance, economic development, fiscal policy, market dynamics, and related topics aligned with the Center’s priorities.
- Prepare, present, and disseminate clear, evidence-based research papers and reports with policy-relevant recommendations.
- Develop and maintain networks with local and international economic research institutions, government bodies, and civil society organizations.
- Organize and moderate webinars, roundtables, and other events focused on economic and financial issues.
- Serve as panelist or moderator in conferences and forums associated with iNNOV8 or its partners.
- Collaborate closely with the research team and external stakeholders to ensure impactful outputs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven research experience specifically in finance, economics, or economic policy is required.
- Academic degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Development Studies, or closely related fields.
- Strong command of research methodologies, data analysis, and economic modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships with government, civil society, and research entities.
- Experience organizing finance- or economy-themed webinars and round-tables.
- Fluency in English and Kurdish is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Skilled in using research software, statistical tools, and data visualization platforms.
