iNNOV8 Environment Week Launched in Kurdistan Region and Iraq to Mark World Environment Day

iNNOV8 is announcing the launch of Environment Week, a multidisciplinary initiative dedicated to exploring how environmental challenges intersect with governance, gender, and sustainable development in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Held in honor of World Environment Day on June 5, the initiative underscores the urgency of advancing environmental awareness and translating dialogue into meaningful action across policy and society in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The week-long initiative brings together experts, policymakers, researchers, and community stakeholders to foster informed discussions and collaborative approaches to some of the region’s most pressing environmental challenges.

Throughout the week, participants will engage in a series of structured activities designed to bridge research and practice, including expert discussions led by leading voices in environmental science and policy, as well as in-depth policy insights examining the current environmental landscape and its regional implications.
